History:
The APA of North Harris County was split off from the Southeast Texas APA in December 2008. We started with 17 teams and 3 host locations. As of the spring season 2010, we have 51 teams playing out of 14 locations. Play pool and have fun. The APA is where everyone can play and anyone can win.
Formats Offered:
8-Ball Teams: 8 man roster, 5 players a night. Handicapped. 2 trips to Vegas, August 2010.
9-Ball Teams: 8 man roster, 5 players a night. Handicapped. 1 trip to Vegas, August 2010.
Jack & Jill: Play Qualifiers to Qualify for Championships. 2 trips to Vegas, August 2010.
Scotch Doubles: Play Qualifiers to Qualify for Championships. 1 trip to Vegas, August 2010.
Ladies Teams: Looking for 4 teams to play on Sundays.
8-Ball Wheelchair: Open to wheelchir players. 1 trip to Vegas, August 2010
TOURNAMENTS:
Each season we offer 3 tournaments to meet other players in the APA of North Harris County. These tournaments are played by skill level. Skill levels: 2& 3, 4 & 5, 6 & 7. Each have the opportunity to win plaques, pool cues, pool cases, cue claws, practice cards and other pool accessories.
MVP Tournament: Invited by performance in previous sections.
Captains Tournament: Open to Captains and Co Captains.
Open Tournament: Open to all players.

FEES
$35 per team – Comes out to $7 a player if 5 people play
$25 Membership Fee per player per year
Singles boards (To qualify for regional events) $15 per year
Player minimum of 4 players per board.
Jack & Jill, Scotch Doubles, Qualifiers cost $35 per team.
